Environmental Policy

At Target Group Ltd we believe that we contribute to society by excelling at what we do, and by operating an Environmental Management System (EMS) in line with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015, we are committed to continually improving our operations to enhance our environmental performance.

Operating an EMS in this way will provide a clear framework to meet our compliance obligations, prevent pollution, safeguard our business from the impacts of climate change and ultimately protect the environment.

Given the nature of our business, the greatest positive impact on sustainability will come from the way we manage our offices and minimise our business travel.

We have put together an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Committee, chaired by a member of ExCo (Chief People Officer), to implement and monitor responsible practices throughout the company and, specifically, throughout the management of our offices. The ESG Committee is responsible for developing and implementing our EMS which includes reviewing and updating the Environmental Policy each year, setting and monitoring objectives and targets, and ensuring that the EMS, key responsibilities, and achievements are effectively communicated internally to staff, as well as to all other interested parties.

The overall EMS objectives set by ExCo (as Top Management) are:

  • Reduce energy consumption
  • Reduce water consumption
  • Reduce waste generated, whilst also improving recycling rates of generated waste
  • Reduce CO2 emissions from business travel
